Preliminary Submission
You can
specify author(s), e-mail address, title and topic area
of your submission by clicking on My Papers. Please,
submit a preliminary 200-word abstract and an 4-page extended abstract before the
deadline. If you cannot make the deadlines, please, inform the conference chair, submit as soon as possible, and email the conference chair again that your extended abstract has been uploaded. You
will be able to change your preliminary submission. Extended Abstract Format Submissions are similar to those to previous IGS conferences. The main differences are that the submission will have the nature of an Extended Abstract of up to 4 pages with page numbers starting with the first page at the bottom center in 10-point Times font. Each page should print in a single column (16 cm x 24 cm) with single spaced text
on A4 or US Letter paper.
Figures should be numbered consecutively and appear as close to the reference
in the text as possible. See the sample MSWord file. Start the paper with the paper title, author names and contact information of all authors. Summarize
in less than 200 words the objective, methods, results, and conclusions. The paper should use the 10-point normal Times font and should be single spaced and justified. The title should be bold and centered using 14 point Times font. Authors names, affiliations and email/fax details of all authors should be centered using 10 point Times font. The last name of each author should be in capitals. The author's affiliation should be italicized. Section headings starting at 1. Introduction should be in 11 point bold font and numbered using a hierarchic numbering. The last section is the list of references. The references should use APA style (http://www.library.ubc.ca/pubs/apastyle.pdf). The list of references should use 9-point Times font. Footnotes should use 9 point Times font and be placed at the bottom of the pages where they appear. All figures and diagrams must be black and white images suitable for photocopying. Figure captions and table headings should be in normal 9-point Helvetica font. Figure and Table, with its numbers, should be bolded. Tables can be in 9-point Helvetica or Courier fonts. Blank lines should be between title, authors, abstract, main text, above headings and above and below figures, tables, and formulas. Formulas are numbered with a sequence number between brackets on the same line, flushed to the right. The position of the formula is approximately centered by hand by inserting spaces between formula and enbracketed sequence number. Formulas should be in preferably in 10-point italic Times font but may contain any other, generally available font.
